The Magic Kingdom’s ticketing system is not so magical after all.
Hundreds of people were left waiting in the heat in Orlando on Monday after Walt Disney World’s ticketing system shut down.
“We experienced an unfortunate interruption in our ticketing system and are working to bring it back online shortly. We apologize for any inconvenience,” a Disney spokesperson wrote to Florida Today, which is part of the USA TODAY Network.
A video posted on social media shows hundreds of people waiting outside the Magic Kingdom’s entrance.
No other details were available.
Disney World’s Magic Kingdom was recently named No. 2 on TripAdvisor’s 2019 Travelers’ Choice list of top amusement parks in the world. Summertime is a peak season for the park.
