Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo can be an intense guy during games, which is to be expected when you’re coaching in big games. Especially in the month of March.
The longtime coach was on fire during Thursday’s opening-round battle against No. 15 Bradley, as his team was in serious trouble of being knocked out of the tournament before surviving with a 76-65 victory.
Izzo lit into freshman Aaron Henry during a timeout, first running up to the guard as he came off the court and tapping him in the stomach while in a fit of rage. It continued during the huddle when he lunged at Henry and had to be settled down by other players:
